For the animation project I took an image of the sky and layered a shooting star over and over to make this animation. This is the project where we put parts where they aren't supposed to be. I gave this lady wings and a beak so she could be a bird.Today with Photoshop we created an alternate shadow for an object. I chose a caterpillar and made it's shadow into a butterfly. I really like the idea behind this alternate idea project and it was super easy to do as well. For this project we had to choose an animal to split in half and fill. I chose the snail, not for any particular reason, but I thought it would be something different. I filled it with glitter because it's usually the opposite of what you think of when you see a snail. The only difficult part was making the glitter the right size to fit next to the snail's body. This is definitely the prettiest snail I've ever seen. For this project we created a mural of a famous person that could be easily recognized out of post it notes. We chose Paul Walker and this is our final product which is displayed at Cary Towne Center. Overall this project was fairly fun and easy, but it was a little hard at times keeping the post it notes in a straight line. The other day in class we made art with light pens. We turned off all of the lights and we were able to capture light by changing the settings on the camera. This was a lot of fun because we could make any design we wanted and it just looks pretty cool. I really like the first picture because even though the words aren't perfect, I can vaguely see myself in the background.
For this project we morphed two animals into one. I chose the wolf and elephant because they are very similar in color and I also just really love elephants. Aside from tried to blend the area between the elephant head and wolf neck, this project was very easy.
For this photoshop project we took a picture with an empty frame and then added in our own image. I chose the beach because it is one of my favorite places and it always makes me happy.
